It’s been a long process, but I finally moved from the Upper East Side to the Financial District in New York City. It’s been an exciting adventure, and it has forced me to change my lifestyle completely. In this blog post, I will share what I have learned about living in this area of NYC.

I’ll start with how difficult it was to find a place that would be affordable for me while still being close proximity-wise to where I work. After looking through listings, one day, while walking down Wall Street near Broad Street in Manhattan, a friend called out, “Hey! There is our new office!” And there we found our next home! What started as a joke turned into reality.
